Walking down the path to the beach, I was enveloped by white washed walls, playing host to climbing fuchsia bougainvillea. I was so entranced by their beauty; I hardly noticed when I arrived at the shore. There, all I could see, no matter which way I looked, was crystal clear turquoise water beckoning me to dive in. Maybe after lunch, I thought, I could summon up the energy to take a dip. From the corner of my eye I could see that the chefs in the cafe were busily preparing a meal fit for the Gods, grilled fish that had been freshly caught that morning, a platter of hummus and vegetables that looked divine and roasted potatoes with rosemary. But for now my only task was to find the perfect perch (lounge chair) to watch the sea which was dotted with colorful boats. I found a place right by the waters edge. It seemed a slice of heaven, a feast for all of my senses. Back here at home, a Mediterranean feast is one of my all time top entertaining go to's. Crisp and clean with a touch of romance, this party will become one of your favorites.
